Online SEPA Credit Transfer
QR-code generator
Legal statement
==============

This website is intended to help European citizen to take advantage of the new Sepa Credit Transfer by means of QR code.
It is not related to any official institute or company, nor approved by the EPC.
Just an implementation of the document 'Quick Response Code: Guidelines to Enable Data Capture for the Initiation of a Credit Transfer'
Version 3.0 (13 September 2022) published by the European Payments Council (EPC) here.

It can be used - free of charge - by private people and non-provit organisations by form or by API (Application Programming Interface).
All submitted data is transferred encrypted by means of HTTPS, and therefore not readable by third parties in transit.
The data is only logged for technical reasons to detect abuse, such as high volumes; not typical for people or small associations.
This logging is done with one way encryption (160 bit RIPEMD hash), to meet EU privacy laws (GDPR).
An exception is made for commercial use and violations, which are stored unencrypted to enable appropriate actions.
All these loggings are permanently deleted on daily basis and never shared to anyone.
The whole website is totally Cookie Free, so again complies with the EU law (ePD).
By using this website, you agree to the General Terms and Conditions (click to read in detail).

To protect the website against abuse, the maximum number of QR code generations per user/site/IP is 100 per day.
Apply for a free registration key directly or by email, to bypass this abuse protection.
Commercial use with such a key is also possible for a small symbolic fee of 1 cent (or less with discount) per generated QR-code.
With this contribution you keep this website free for non-commercial use and support the developer at the same time.

Any requests, questions, comments or appreciations: email to Free-SCT at this domain
